FeelQuran offers spiritual support in people's most vulnerable moments. Your privacy is a trust we take seriously. This policy explains what we process, why, and how.
Who we are

Anonymous-first use
No account is required. On first launch an anonymous identity is created on your device. You may optionally link an Apple, Google or email account to carry your data across devices.
Data we collect
Your mood inputs and chat text: processed to suggest fitting verses.
Saved verses, collections and (supporter) mood journal.
Usage counters (for free-tier limits) and app preferences (language, theme, reciter).
Supporter status (purchases via the payment provider — we never see your card details).
With your permission: push token and anonymous product analytics.
Sensitive data
Your mood journal and long-term "memory" reflect your spiritual/emotional state and receive special care. We store it encrypted, restrict access, and let you view and delete it in-app. Cross-device memory works only when you link an account, with your consent.
AI processing
To produce suggestions, your expression is sent to an AI service (OpenAI). The AI never generates verse or translation text; it only selects a fitting verse from a verified source. All secrets and intelligence live on the backend; the app never talks to these services directly.
Quran content
Quran text, translations and recitation come from the Quran Foundation API and, per license, are cached only briefly (≤1 week) — never stored permanently. The translation source is shown on screen.
Third parties
To operate the service we may share limited data with: OpenAI (AI), Quran Foundation (content), RevenueCat & Apple/Google (payments), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error monitoring). Each is limited to its purpose.
Your rights (KVKK & GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, object to processing of, and export your data. You can delete your mood journal and memory in-app. Requests: [email protected].
Retention and security
We keep data only as long as needed. TLS in transit, access controls at rest. Quran content refreshes after the ≤1-week cache.
Children
The app is not directed to young children. Store age ratings apply.
